About Tracee Metcalfe

14 Peaks

On October 4th, 2024 I became the first US woman, and 3rd US human to summit all 14 of the world’s highest mountains! This incredible journey took me nearly a decade to complete, involved 21 expeditions to 8000-meter peaks in Nepal, Pakistan and Tibet.

None of this would have been possible without the logistics and support provided by Mingma G and the amazing Imagine Nepal Sherpa Team. I will be forever humbled and grateful for these experiences.

If you’re curious about what it takes to climb these magnificent peaks and the hurdles encountered during the journey, I invite you to dive into my expedition blogs. Discover the stories behind the ascents, the breathtaking landscapes, and the moments of hardship, perseverance, and ultimate success. Each blog entry offers a unique glimpse into the world of high-altitude climbing and the passion that drove me to reach these formidable summits.

Join me on this journey, and let these experiences inspire you to chase your own dreams, no matter how lofty they may seem!
